Become a Volunteer

We are always needing new volunteers at Pobail le Chéile. Even an hour or two a month can make a world of a difference to us.The project can offer volunteering opportunities across a wide range of activities including the following:Páisti Le Chéile, Youth Drop-in, Cumann Cairdeas, Maidin Mhaith & Siopa Pobail.

Páistí le Chéile

Childcare workers needed to help out at our weekly Parent & Toddler Group, setting out toys etc

Youth Drop-in

Volunteers needed for Supervision & participation with young people.Garda Vetting & references required.

Cumann Cairdeas

Guest speakers wanted to give talks/workshops to our active age agroup on a wide range of subjects.ie. Flower arranging.Expenses reimbursed.

Maidin Mhaith

Volunteers usually work one 2 hour shift each week, the shifts are from 9:30am-11:15am and 11:15am-1pm. You will be given full training and as much support as necessary to your Volunteering Role.Garda vetting and references required

Siopa Pobail

General workers assisting with sorting sort.Must have good communication skills and must enjoy working with people.

Also volunteers needed for-

Gardening & Market development, Glór Don Phobal articles & website development.
